I don't have anything to offer in the way of the hysteroscopy but just wanted to lend some support and hope for that BFP - you can do it! It sounds like your re has you on the right track - good luck & SSBD!!
Well - no good news... I started my cycle, and they warned me if I did not get pregnant this time, that Dr. would want to do a hysteroscopy to remove the
Polyp from my uterus. Well, they want me to go in Fri. to meet with Dr. to explain the hysteroscopy, and how it will improve my chances of getting pregnant, and is necessary. They will probably schedule me one day next week, but since they said I will be sedated, that I can not drive myself, nor will I be able to return to work the day they do it. So will lose a month again, but they assure me it is a necessary evil, and will help us in the long run. I was already too far into my cycle this time for them to do it, so figured might as well give it a shot.Said that the polyp almosts acts like an internal IUD, and has the body thinking there is a foreign item & won’t allow anything to happen. So just really bummed & devastated today, but few good things... I can lift & help John w/ the house this month & I can have some drinks this weekend...I am still going to think positive for next cycle... John is just worried about me & hates to see me go through all of this. But I said I want to & it will be worth it.
So - any input or experience with hysteroscopy to remove polyp from uterus ?
It really could be either. The time is about right for implantation bleeding, so it could easily be that. Also, alot of women will have spotting during the first trimester of pregnancy..they don't really know why in most cases, but it happens. I don't think its time to give up hope yet. If you are about 12DPO, try a HPT tomorrow. The First Response is a good one to use if its before your period is due (at least in my opinion). Even if it comes back negative, it doesn't mean your not pregnant, just that your HCG's aren't high enough yet to pick it up. THe waiting time is the worst I know. Hang in there, you will have your answers soon. I wish you luck!
