I still remember saying to my ob at 32wks with my first that I had thought about it and I actually didn't want to do either - labour nor csection. He laughed and said we had a problem then. I was just so scared. Reading some books, talking to friends, discussing pain meds with dr all helped make me feel more comfortable with the idea and in the end I just couldn't wait to meet me baby. I ended up having a csection and it was great.

Epidurals do not make everything better, there is alot of risks with them and they can quite often slow labour down resulting in csection.. best suggestion is to breathe and do not panic as it can be quite scary when in labour just because it is painful and uv never experienced it, and make sure u keep sipping fluids, ul b fine :)

I watched a video online.  If your not prepared then you should prob plan on getting an epidural.  Talk to your doctor.  Take a class. Read online.
