This is my second pregnancy I was 19 when I had my son I was terrifild that I was not going to be able to push him out I was in labor for 7hours I got to hospital at 9:50pm I was 3cm I didn't want any pain medicine but after 3hours i was in so much pain that I got the epidural when I was 8cm my son was born at 4:10am... so for this pregnancy if am in pain I will get the epidural i as soon as I can lol I dont wat to wait and past to alot of pain..
I still remember saying to my ob at 32wks with my first that I had thought about it and I actually didn't want to do either - labour nor csection. He laughed and said we had a problem then. I was just so scared. Reading some books, talking to friends, discussing pain meds with dr all helped make me feel more comfortable with the idea and in the end I just couldn't wait to meet me baby. I ended up having a csection and it was great.
Epidurals do not make everything better, there is alot of risks with them and they can quite often slow labour down resulting in csection.. best suggestion is to breathe and do not panic as it can be quite scary when in labour just because it is painful and uv never experienced it, and make sure u keep sipping fluids, ul b fine :)
Im 19 i just had my.first last night. It wasnt as scary as i thought. I think i over thought it tbh. But it hurts n its a insane.experience!!
I watched a video online. If your not prepared then you should prob plan on getting an epidural. Talk to your doctor. Take a class. Read online.
