Update on the twinkies........

Just wanted to share my update on the twins!  I'm 26 weeks tomorrow and just had another u/s.  Both babies are healthy and doing great!  Baby boy is 1lb 12oz and baby girl is 1lb 13oz....no way is she letting brother push her around!  Ha!!  They were both just under the 50th percentile in weight-so far so good.  I just can't believe how time flies!!!  I have my glucose test friday...yuck!  I'm seeing my OB every 2 weeks and at 30weeks it will be every week.  I see the peri for ultrasounds every 3-4weeks and at 32 weeks it will be every week.  Realistically they should be here in about 9 or 10 weeks!  Crazy!!  And there is still SO much to do and buy-its overwhelming.  How is everyone else doing....prepared???

I can't figure out how to post pics either since I just get the little print outs...i'm technically challenged as my husband says!  HA.

Glad to hear your little twins are doing so well!!  Sounds like you have a lot of appts coming up.. fun fun.. right??  Don't worry about the glucose. It really isn't that bad. It taste like sweet orange soda.

As for preparing.. I'm a planner and a researcher.. Others can let things go till the last couple of weeks.. not me.. that just stresses me out.  What I did was go to Babies r us and opened a registry... I added some stuff in the store but the majority of it, I did on the net.. I got the consumer reports on baby products and read the reviews on the babies r us web page.  After my shower I went to babies r us and bought everything on my registry that somebody didn't already buy for me... since then I have been scolded by people who wanted to buy me something, but I just tell them.. "hey you've had 8 months to do that.."  :)

I'm really glad to hear everything is going so smoothly for you and the twins.

So glad the lil ones are doing great and things are going well. Can't wait til you figure out how to post pics! Do what Brandi does and take them to Walmart! We want to see the lil ones!!!!!! Things I have gotten ready are just some baby clothes. I can't really rely on hand me downs from my sister because she had a girl! I'm planning on having two baby showers so I'm actually trying to wait until after I see what I get from them. To have ultrasounds every week would be great for my sake, DH says that's too many disturbances on the baby. Heck, they know first hand what it's like to disturb us.. the lil burgers do it all the time.. night and day =o)

Congrats on everything going so well!!
