So Worried

I just found out I am pregnant.  My date may be a little of but my LMP was 4/12..I think.  I have a taken a total of 4 HPT that all came out positive.  I had my first doctors appointment today and when they did the vaginal ultra sound, she didnt see anyhing.  No sac no baby no nothing.  I go back in 2 days to have my hcg levels tested.  I dont know what they are right now.  I was told I am 4 1/2 weeks.  This is my first pregnancy and I am 35.  They want to rule pout an tubal pregnancy.  I just pray all is well.  I think it may just be to early to actually see anything!

They are doing the ultra sound in office.  Should I request to be sent somewhere else?  Thanks alot for your response!!

It's not overly uncommon to hear this, especially if you are uncertain of your dates.  If LMP was truly 4/12, you would now be 5 weeks, 5 days.  

If your dates are off it isn't overly surprising they saw nothing, especially if the ultrasound being used was typical Dr. office quality.   So the fact that there  All they really need to be off by is a few days.  I truly hope that is the case.  I am glad they are being thorough...are they sending you to a proper ultrasound clinic?  I wish you all the best.
