Hi there I am 39 weeks and this is my first. I have also experiencing this pain. My obgyn said that it is from the baby dropping and putting pressure on your pelvic bone which is causing the pain on your pubic bone. So yay it's just a sign that your baby is getting ready!
Im pregnant with my third child now and I think the pain youre experiencing is totally normal. You are probably really big by now, and the weight and pressure the vaginal area has at this moment could cause that type of pain.
It may be b/c your getting close to due date and baby may be dropping. Or had some sex maybe? If it keeps bothering you call your ob on Monday.
