Feeling baby moving down

I'm 38 and 3 days pregnant. I'm feeling my baby move further down. My doctor said I've dropped. It feels like he's moving towards my vagina area. What is happening?????

Your bab is getting readyd to come meet you, congrats!  You ar getting so close!!  
With my first I did not feel baby drop but my ob told me at my 35 appt that baby dropped, that's how I knew.
