ok.. girls.. I found a tick on my dog this morning.. and now it has a big red bullseye around it... ugh. sign of lymes.. now I get to take her to the vet in the morning for medication.. oh. and she is a big 55lb dog.. all by myself..
just wanted to give you guys a heads up on your animals.. spring time is the worst for those nasty things... yuck!!!

thanks for the warning my Grand Show Champion Redbone got Heart worms last summer on Heart Gaurd....so many mosquitoes......just pray ticks aren't as bad as that this year

yea Jen.. she will need to be on three weeks of antobotics.. ugh.. I cought it right away... darn thing was showing up right away.. ( the bulleyes rash) after pulling it off. I have woods in the back.. and deer!! so I use frontline.. and was just a few days behind giving it to them. go figure!

Im just glad it wasnt on me !!!  eeeeeeww....

We just did put on the flea/tic medicine on our dogs - the kind that you rub on the back of the neck.  The same thought occurred to me because we didn't have a cold enough winter to kill those nasty things.  I hope your dog's okay!
