Thanks everyone. Its my first pregnancy and the more I read I get freaked out and I read certain ice cream can cause listeria leading to miscarriage. But thank goodness Ben and Jerry's product is found to be safe for preggo ladies.

Isnt this the 35+ community for pregnant women? The last comment was very unnecessary and ive seen questions worse than this. This has been stated before but if u dont like or agree with someones post, just bypass it instead of making a fellow preggy feel like they cant post questions on here. Eat your heart out on icecream. I wish i could have some.

Well no it wasn't rude and im not a negative NANCY first of all if ice cream was a no no it wouldn't be a choice u can have put on your tray if ur in the hospital and u can't believe everything u read on the internet and if I was being rude I wouldn't of said I wasn't being rude... bottom line I found the question to be a lil bit quirky but nothing more so to anyone who don't like what I asked kick rocks and STFU now im being rude so confuse my rudeness next time.

I've only heard for you to not eat ice cream from a soft serve machine because they are sometimes not cleaned properly.  It has not stopped me. You have the same chances as getting sick rather your pregnant or not.

Well 34expectingnumber4 that WAS rude. I have found several sites saying no ice cream and others that say its OK. She is asking a question she isn't sure of. Give her a break... and yes it is OK to eat ice cream but frozen yogurt is a better choice.

I don't see why not, unless your doctor told you to cut back on sugary things,if not then don't hold back and fulfill your cravings :)

Of course, just try for frozen yogurt instead. It's healthier and tastes just as good :)
