First IVF

I just wondered who out there has a similar story to mine.  I'm 35, turning 36 in 2 months and I'm waiting for day 21 of my cycle to start Lupron for my first IVF try.  Apparently everything is fine with me so far, it's my husband that has a low sperm count..etc.  I just wondered if there is a greater chance with me getting pregnant since I should be able to carry it..etc.  My expectation is that I should get pregnant with our first try, but I just wonder how hard I'm going to be crushed.

Just wondering what you think?

I just had my first IVF after 3 failed IUI. I didn't know to take baby aspirin but started the day after the IVF when my tax lady told me. I called the nurse and they said, "Yeah, do that". Huh? Why didn't they tell me? Well it is all in God's hands, he is the author of life. They put 3 in. I pray for every one of them. God Bless all of you as we all go through this.

Hi. My husband and I had the same problem (low sperm count). I'm 44 so we also used a donor egg. Placed 2 blasts. Both took, but only 1 developed a heart beat. I'm 9 weeks pregnant and very nauseated. Good luck and think positive! Try to rest. It is an emotional roller coaster ride.

I just wanted to wish you the best of luck!  I hope you get pregnant on the first try.  IVF success rates are high but so unpredictable.  I am turning 35 in 2 months and if this cycle fails will be starting ivf myself in a few weeks.  I am so sorry you have to go through this  :(
