pregnant or not??

I had an IVF cycle a three day embryo transfer, 3 "eggs" all 6-8 cells It is day nine I am due for blood work on manday for the big teat but did a home test today and it was negative is there still hope for me I have heard that sometimes hpt connot detect the hormone levels at this early stage.  Help I am so nervous

Good luck! My early tests came back negative, wasn't til I was a week late on my pd. that I got a positive result. Then my hormones shot thru the roof. :)

It's hard to say at this point.  Different HPT tests pick up the hormone levels at different stages...First Response picks it up when they are at only 5 or 6, so tend to work much earlier.  Some of the other's require the levels to be 25 or even 50 or 100, so obviously it takes longer.  HCG builds up in your blood first, and it takes about 2 days from it's first appearance in your blood to reach your urine.  I am sure your Dr. has you scheduled for a bloodtest in the next week or so?  Good luck to you, I hope all works out.
