pregnant, when do i go to the doctor?

hey there,
I am new on this and i have just found out that i am pregnant for the first time approx 4 weeks. I am very nervous about it and i have no symptoms only tender breasts and this has me thinking am i really pregnant even though the test said yes. Even at this early stage should I go to the doctor or do i leave it till a few more weeks?

Congrats to you!!  I wish you a healthy and uneventful 9  months!!  I understand your nervousness...it must be hard being without your support system.  I think you will this forum a great source of support..I know I sure did.  Let us know how you are doing!!

Thank you, I went to the doctor yesterday and I am going to the gyny on monday. My OH is going away for 6 weeks and I live in a forgien country with few friends so I have to go and see what the protocal is on pregnancy here so that I will know what to do when he is away!! That is what is making me so nervous, him being away!!

My drs won't see you until you are 8 weeks along... but I would call now and schedule as their appointments fill up quickly! Good Luck
