I am so sorry that you are having this stress.
I would wait as well. I don't understand why they want you to schedule a D+C already.
With my m/c I only spotted for one day at 9 week and they gave me an ultrasound. They could tell the baby had stopped growing at 7 weeks, I still let the m/c happen naturally.
It sounds like your baby might be still growing - wait a little longer.
We will be thinking about you - keep us posted.

You have made me feel so much better. I am going through emotional stress right now. However, after reading your mesg I will not make any quick decisions. I am praying for the best as well. I am on my way to the doctor, and will keep you all posted. Thanks
Oh my, this is such a difficult thing to go through. I have heard of these cases working out ok sometimes though. As Debbie said, everyone is different. You do not have to make that D&C decision now. The first time they told me that, I left the hospital and refused. I went to see my OB and had another ultrasound a week later as well as more bloodwork, 2 tests 48 hours apart. I did not let anyone do anything until we knew for absolute certain. I would follow up with your OB. So many women here have bled fairly heavily and had all turn out OK. I am praying for you my friend. I know how stressful a time this is. TAke care, and know we are here for you.
Hugs, Amanda
The blood is not dark red it is light red, but it running like my cycle. I said that wrong sorry. Thanks for your prayers. I am a little on the worry side. Especially since they didn't hear the heart beat, and I know I will be exactly eight weeks Wed. I will keep you posted. Thanks
Thanks, and I will do that. Just went to the bathroom, and I am bleeding light, but heavy. Just don't know what to think. I will keep you posted
My friend went for an ultrasound at 6 weeks, 7 weeks, 8 weeks and 9 weeks is when they were able to see the heartbeat. Everyone is different. Hang in there and request another ultrasound from your OB.
Good Luck!
Debbie
