Soon as I found out I started for my baby girl.....
Whenever you find out gender, or in third trimester.
Thanks so much, I don't feel bad about trying to get a little at a time. Even though my boyfriend don't want me to buy anything until the baby comes.
I started buying diapers and wipes at like 7 wks and bought random stuff throughout the rest of my pregnancy. I started buying clothes when I found out the sex
I'm 13 weeks and know the gender from the materniT21 test, so my husband and I are going to start shopping this week. We want to buy a bit each week, so we don't have to buy a lot at once the last few months. Figured we'd stretch it out.
I've been buying since month. A little here and there has turned into a lot. I'm 33 weeks and have plenty to start with and it was easier on our pockets
I started at 18 weeks. Every week I am shopping for one article for the baby. I started with the baby's room decoration. I choose a Jungle theme. I didn't know the gender before so I choose colors for both gender. I purchashed baby items that were on clearance. First toy, fussy blanket, first spoon, baby booties, crib bedding set, wall decals, and articles that match my Jungle theme. Now I know I am having a boy I am buying the outfits. I have been told not to buy the newborn outfit to much because they grow so fast that it wont fit. I just got a few for 3-6 months and since my delivery date is due in January 22 ( winter time) looking at the next three months of winter clothing. Just a few for those months. After that will buy for summer clothing with a bigger size.
Im buyin things wen I find out gender n 3 weeks
33weeks, just bought a few clothes, nappies, facecloths and a baby bath this weekend. Chosen a stroller and borrowing a bassinet which hopefully will arrive in the next few weeks, so we can get some bedding for it. If baby comes now it will be in the NICU anyway so we don't need to panic and rush to buy things. I was superstitious because of failed pregnancies so didn't want to buy anything until baby had reasonable chance of doing well. We don't know the gender either so not going to buy much more stuff until baby is born. Hubby can nip out and get what we need then and my mum will be in town for two weeks so she can help too!
16 weeks and 5 days here. Bought the crib bedding and decorations this weekend. Buying the nursery furniture Nov/Dec. Probably get the stroller travel system in Jan/February. Baby due in March :-) got it all spread out for the big purchases
I started shopping when I was 12 wks (currently 17 wks), too excited to wait any longer haha. We're not going to find out the gender, so we didn't have to wait for the scan.
