Burning/warm sensation

Hello, I’ve been pregnant twice before and carried two children full term. I’m starting to wonder where my period is but I also can’t remember if I have had it already. But I’ve been wondering for a week and I don’t think I would if I had had it..

Anyway I have a bad yeast infection. I took my first pill yesterday. But ever since my gyno appointment (not right after but yesterday) I’ve had a burning/warm feeling in my “uterus”. I still have it today. It’s not constant because i didn’t feel it this morning. That I know! (I’m a very distracted person .. it’s embarrassing). After the exam (she checked my cervix I think) I had some light cramping which I think is normal after a visit right?

I can only remember this feeling together with pregnancy. But I took a test yesterday (not morning urine however) and it was negative. I don’t know when I ovulate so I can’t do some math either. I’m like a lost teenager when it comes to my cycle.

I’ve tried to google yeast infections and this feeling but only get pregnancy boards. I don’t have a UTI. And I feel fine, no fever or the like and I’m not in pain. Could I have tested too early?

I would be more patient but I’m so upset about the yeast infection (don’t ask why I’m overreacting) and I also take medicine that I would have to stop ASAP.

Anyone recognize this?

Yeast infections are the pits!  I'm glad you have some medicine to get rid of it.  Try some vagisil wipes while it works.  I have used the one day Monostat ovule with great success and gotten rid of yeast in a day.  Was impressed (and happy).  Anyway, you are sure you don't have a UTI?  They can start and we don't have all the symptoms right away.  It sounds like you've had a uti before and know how that feels.  But since it involves the bladder and kidneys, burning inside could be linked to that.  I never had burning inside when I was pregnant but it sounds like you did.  This is familiar to you only when you were pregnant.  Soooooo, maybe.  You sound like knowing about your cycle at this time has gotten away from you.  Wait a week and take another test.  You CAN treat for a yeast infection while pregnant (did it myself) so there shouldn't be any reason you have to stop the medicine.  Oh, and when at the doctor's yesterday, You didn't do a pee test for them?  If you go back, definitely ask for one.

For remember your cycle, you can download one of the pregnancy apps, I have MyCycles.  Or you can use a tracker here at medhelp that you find on your home page or you can keep a journal here at medhelp (also from your home page) where you just write the at you get your period and keep an ongoing journal to look back to.  Then it's always in one place ( I tried doing it on paper and then like I have to keep up with that paper, lol, and that gets lost in my house or has kid doodling all over it!).

Anyway, let us know what a second pregnancy test says or if your symptoms get worse or change.  hugs

Thank you for your kind words. I simply forget about apps and all those help methods. I blame my ADHD but know it’s really just because I don’t “care” enough if that makes sense.. but I’ve decided to work on that.

The burning sensation is still there and I’ve had some spotting. With older blood. I’ve done some hardcore googling and finally found information saying it can happen with yeast infections so I’m assuming that’s where the blood comes from or maybe when she checked my cervix.

I’ll take another test in 4-5 days just to be sure but I don’t think it is pregnancy anymore. UTI never feels this way for me but doesn’t mean it couldn’t this time maybe? I’m a bit concerned about my pee, it’s very cloudy, should be see through right?

They didn’t do any tests and also no ultrasound which the health line found very odd.
