Could I be pregnant?

I am 21 years old and have always had irregular periods. My last one was in December 2012 and I have been on
birth control for a month now. Just recently I have been feeling tired all the time and bloated a lot also been having more headaches than I usually have along with feeling nausea but no vomiting. I have been spotting for 4 days but its light and will spot one day and not the next. Could there be a possibly I could be pregnant? Or just the birth control symptoms? Which would be werid cause I've been off and on birth control and never had this before when I was on birth control.

I haven't switched birth control its been the same. Going to set a appt. to get bloodwork done I think that will be my best way to tell if I am. Thanks for your feedback.

Is this a different birth control from ones you've previously been on? With ot being the first month of being on it, it is entirely possible it could be the birth control. If you've had sex without other forms of protection it is possible you may be pregnant, but with being irregular it is very hard to know when/if you would've ovulated since Dec.

My advise, is go to your doctors. I have been on birth control before and had side effects, some being to the extreme of it causing a chemical imbalance. You may have to switch bc, or your doctor might want to run bloodwork, or have you continue the bc til you've been on it 3 months,  as it can take that long for your body to adjust.
