Missed pills + breakthrough bleeding.

I missed 3 pills around the middle of my pill packet (celest) and had unprotected sex before and after I missed the pills. Due to missing the 3 pills, I am now experiencing breakthrough bleeding, this is not as heavy as my normal period and is quite watery. It is also different to any breakthrough bleeding that I have before? I know its too early to test for pregnancy but is there still a chance that I am pregnant despite the breakthrough bleeding?

If you didn't conceive, then by stopping your pill now could mess up your cycle and really delay your period. However, it's possible that could happen anyway since you've missed some pills already. Then again, if you did conceive, then it's best for the baby that you're not continuing to take the pills. If it were me, I would stop taking them, and start a fresh when you're period arrives. Just start a whole new fresh cycle (without missing any pills if possible!)

thank you, im just a very impatient person so this is difficult for me :') do you know what I should do about my pill now? If I am pregnant I dont want to harm the baby in any way so should I stop taking the pill now?

Yes there is. Missing pills, especially around mid packet means you're about mid cycle. Mid cycle is when most women ovulate, and so missing pills could mean that it makes you ovulate. (the pill works by tricking your body into thinking ovulation has already occurred, hence why missing them could make you ovulate).

All you can do is wait another 2 weeks or so, and the take a pregnancy test with first morning urine and see what it says.
