Can I be pregnant?

I’m currently on mirena and I have missed my period and that is not normal for me. Been having some cramping last few days but still no period. I have took a pregnancy test which came back negative. I’m just not myself. Any suggestions?

Whoa, 10 years.  Does sound like a long time to have a change like that.  Check in with your doctor.  When was the last time you had it replaced?

I’ve had my IUD changed twice. The first one I had for it for 5 years then the second I had for about 4 years then took it out to get pregnant with my second son who is now 20 months and this one is my third one and I’ve it since my 6 week after having him and always had my monthly until now. Which I have had some pregnancy symptoms like frequent trips to the bathroom. I’ve been moody my back hurts a lot more and a little bit of nauseous without vomiting and acne so I’m not sure what’s going on.
Well, I'd go ahead and call your doctor.  They can give you a blood test and let you know if this is due to the IUD and if there is a problem with it this time around.  That's what I'd do.  good luck

I would say you are probably not pregnant.  Mirena is well known for causing periods to stop.  Sometimes they stop and spotting begins later or your period comes back altogether later on.  This is all very normal for Mirena. Sometimes periods stop right away with mirena and sometimes it is later on.  I'd say this is all normal for your birth control choice and if you are concerned, I'd set up an appointment with your doctor to discuss.  good luck

@ Specialmom Yea I heard that it normally makes your periods stop but I have been on it for over ten years and it never stop my periods until now which I think it strange I thought it would have been stopped by now.
