How are you doing on your weight gain?

Now that we're well into the second trimester the suggested weight gain is slightly over 1 pound a week. I know that's right about what I've been doing for the last 3 weeks. At this rate I'll be the same weight I was when my daughter was born probably around 175ish just shy of 180. My average non pregnancy weight is around 160 so that keeps me in the normal range.

I'm checking in to see how everyone else is doing with their weight gain. I know for some of us it can be hard to put the pounds on and even harder to make sure we don't gain too much.

I'm already looking forward to losing the weight after the baby is born!

I am still holding steady with 160-161.  My belly is getting bigger though so maybe my body is using some of its fat stores.

I started another group on MedHelp called the Mommy Weight Loss Challenge:

I know with myself it is always hard to get those last 10-15 lbs off even with me breastfeeding so I thought it would be great to have a group that focused on weight loss after the baby.

My tummy is tight with the baby growing in there.  Been trying to stay steady on my exercise I think that is helping.  I will be shooting to get back to 135 after birth.

I'm 27 weeks pregnant tomorrow and I've gained 7 lbs so far... I am concerned but the doctor says that my weight gain is under extreme control and sees no concerns.

168 here! Not feeling huge, just a little chunky. I am looking forward to losing the weight after the baby comes. I hope to get back down to 145. Still doing light workouts for now and getting plenty of walking in.

I'm up to 160 on mine, it's kept steady for about a week or so give or take days where I had water weight gain.  Now if I can just get this heartburn to let up a bit that would be nice lol

lol even on a non-pregnant day I can't weigh only 110, you are going to have no trouble at all losing the weight after the baby that's for sure

My bloating and water retention has gone this week thank goodness.  Had to make a few dietary changes, but starting to feel a little more comfortable now.

And PetiteWonder I was 3 lbs lighter on the doctors scale too.  I liked that though lol
