SO over it all!!

So I'm 36 wks 5dys and I am so ready for my son to be in my arms. I'm done with the false labor. I'm done with the random painful contractions. I'm soo excited to hold my child that I'm starting to get really impatient with the whole process of being pregnant. Sure it was great in the beginning(meaning the 2nd Tri for me) but now it's lost it's novelty and I'm ready for the next chapter of the book. What about you ladies?

Well, I voted it's taking too long, and I'm only in my 29th week right now.  But, it seemed once the 3rd trimester hit - like last week - I got really bad lower back pain and it hurts so much to move around that I am seriously ready to have the baby and be done with this nonsense - I have never had back pain like this.
With my first pregnancy, a year and a half ago, I wasn't nearly this sore so early in the 3rd trimester and with both pregnancies I really enjoyed the 2nd trimester - when you start feeling the baby and finding out the gender and all the fun stuff.  But, once it gets so late in the pregnancy and it's just miserable to even breathe comfortably, not to mention move around and forget about trying to sleep - I get impatient, too.
I was induced with my first pregnancy at 40 weeks 4 days, so hang in there, girl - don't induce until you really have to - too much risk of c-section.  Luckily everything went fine for me.  The time will go by fast and before you know it, you'll be up at night taking care of your little one, instead of running to pee or trying to get comfortable in bed - lol :-)

Nope, you're not the only one.  Other than the few exciting points I mentioned, I am not one that likes being pregnant.  I mean, I love my kids and the outcome, but pregnancy is not really good to me.  It is very hard on my body and I have had some problems.  I did with the last one and that is one reason this will be it for me.  7 pregnancies have really taken a toll on my body.  It is tired and so am I!

I am due August 31st.  Until about a week or 2 ago, my pregnancy was dragging because of how bad I felt.  Now that I am starting to feel much better, it is going by pretty quickly at this point.  But come June, I won't leave my house.  I will be as big as my house and it will be horribly hot.  Texas summers are no picnic.  LOL!

lol its all normal but most dr's wont induce before 38 weeks if there isnt a need to. the best thing for your baby right now is to finish cookin. I know it seems like literally FOREVER for it to be over but it will go by fast.

Glad I'm not the only one sometimes. It's just getting to the point where I am very uncomfortable with these contractions and no progress is being made, but I will find out tomorrow if maybe something is starting. I'm trying for a normal birth, but I'm half a mind to go and ask to be induced. Half a mind. lol

Isnt it weird that after you reach the milestones of finding out the gender and feeling baby move for the first time and go shopping to knock out all the stuff you wont get at your babyshower..thats when your ready to throw in the towel? Thats how i feel at this point. Im like ok ive reached all the exciting points now the baby is just going to make me heavier, take up more of my breathing space, and make me look like i have Kankles (thank's Shallow Hal). I think we all get to that point but as long as it benefits the baby ill deal with the kankles for the next 15 weeks.
JOYRENEE: you seem so joyful and happy all the time. I wish i could have your positive attitude everyday LOL

I'm only 14 weeks so I'm not there yet. I LOVE being pregnant but there does come a time when I'm like, "Okay... come out now! I want to meet you!" Just not to that point yet. Right now I'm more focused on, "What is my baby's gender?!" and what to name them so just not to the 9th-month-blahs.

I had a friend that literally HATED being pregnant, yes she would get excited when her little girl would move but everything else she hated. She called me crying one day because one of her co-workers told her since she felt like this she was "disconnected' from her pregnancy. This is soooo not true! We are human and after a while even the most patient people become impatient. Dont worry it will be next Christmas before you know it and youre going to wonder where did the time go! Best of Luck to you! he will be here soon and before you know it....and starting school. LOL

I having mixed feelings right now. I want her out so I can meet her. But I'm nervous about my whole life changing so much...this is our first. I really like being pregnant, so I don't want it to end just yet. And I LOVE feeling her move. Some of her movements are super weird and crazy, but DH gets a good giggle out of those ones, so it's worth it.

I hope you start feeling better soon. I'm sure I'll be miserable in a few weeks here with you! LOL!

Hmmm.....well I didn't really vote because I don't think I fit into just one category.  LOL!  The first 16 weeks or so are terrible for me.  I DO NOT enjoy that at all.  I get so sick and dehydrated from the nausea/vomitting that I have to be hospitalized.  I am hating pregnancy at the point.  I was regretting getting pregnant a few weeks ago honestly.  I was actually mad at myself.  Ha ha.  But now, I am starting to feel better and not too big yet, so I am okay (I am 17 wk 1day).  This is the exciting time because you know you are pregnant.  You are to the point that you are beginning to feel movement and I am almost to the point I get to find out what I am having...even though I am pretty sure I already know.  Ha ha.  Once I get to the 3rd tri, I am back to being miserable again.  Not only do you feel movement, you feel strong movement and I have super active babies in the womb.  When I get up to go to the bathroom at 2 a.m., they wake up and then keep me up for 2 hours.  I can never figure out what the heck they are doing in there :)  It's like they are already keeping me up and they aren't even born yet!  LOL  So at the point that you are at....yeah, I am usually ready to go ahead and have the baby already.  I am just beyond uncomfortable at that point.  I hate hearing this, but I will have to say it to you anyway....hang in there girl.  You are almost to the finish line!  Good luck with your delivery!!!
