10 day old constipated

Hi. My gal is 10 days old and seems constipated. When she does Poo its little bits and solid. Any tips to help her? P.s I don't want to use a q tip.

As long as the water is boiled and cooled, like you use for formula, it is fine.

Try rubbing her belly lightly where it would give her tingles it might relax her enough to poo. Or just rubbing it. My little cousin was always constipated as a baby n my mom watched him and that's what she always done. Good luck and congrats on your little one!

Check with your babys doctor...i was told by my daughters dr not to give her water!!! It can be very harmful to a newborn. Are you nursing?? If your using formula...try switching

I'll possibly be slated for this comment but it worked for my kids...a tiny drop of fresh orange juice in cooled boiled water, I know the sugars arent good for them blah blah, but my kids wouldnt take plain water and were pooping rabbit droppings, it did the job.

Try boiled water an if u cn gt glucose frm the pharmacy/chemist an add a lil to the boiling water ur bby mst gt water in as well its very importnt bt the glucose is jus so tht she likes the taste as mst bbys dnt like water lol :) hope she poops soon.
