how accurate are ultrasounds

ashes messaged me privately to but i never got back to her sorry for that but yes ultrasounds are acurate they give u a due date and if your baby grows faster or slower or to the date then they extend ur due date or shorten it...iv measured to the date the whole 22 weeks some girls dont i got my due date at 6 weeks 4 days of may 4th a week later then my lmp due date was given i guess i ovulated later but my period went from 28-35 days everyones different doll

My consultant (here in England) told me baby's tend to grow at different paces until 12 weeks, also that she thinks its best between 11-13 weeks to estimate due dates. An ultrasound wouldn't bw more than a few days out

The earlier you get an ultrasound, the more accurate it is supposed to be as far as dates and such.

The 21 week scan is very acurate. but the 1st one can be rong. but not by much. with my 1st. and the 1st scan my dd was the 5th of july but the 21 week scan made it at the 1st of july. and she arrived at 5:18am on her due date...

As far as edd, they are pretty accurate. More accurate then they would be later on. But I don't know what results your asking about.
