placenta close to cervix opening??

Hi there.. update on my 26 weeks ultrasound to chk placenta. its still 1.1 cm away from cervix opening but they want to see it 2 cm away.....need to go for another ultrasound after 4 weeks......

any thoughts????????????????

I have same problem except mine is blocking the exit door according to my scan at 13 weeks I'm now 20 and go for a scan Monday, she said if it hasn't moved by then I will most likely have to have a csection :(
This is my first baby and I'm already nervous as hell

hopefully as your uterus gets bigger the placenta will move up just that little more and you will be in the all clear :)
