family history of bad knees??

Ok so bad knees run in my family and ive recently started getting pains in my left knee. I would get them occasionally kneeling on hard floors before i was pregnant but lately if i bend down to grab something they hurt and im a waitress so if im cleaning a booth ill kneel on it and i get shooting pains. I dont understand why because im kneeling on a cushion. Im 30 weeks pregnant as well and im just wondering if this is normal in pregnancy or if its the family history catching up to me?? 7 of my close family members have had to have surgery on there knees so im worried i might need to as well..

Runs in my family too, almost everyone has had some sort of surgery, and I was wondering the same thing, I have had my ACL repaired and its been flaring up pretty regularly now that I'm further along. But I don't think its something you'd need surgery for.

Definitely normal in pregnancy, especially with you being this far along. It's a mix of extra baby weight and pressure of the baby in the uterus. Baby's position can actually affect some of your nerves in your body. Don't worry! Make sure you're taking breaks though.
