Lol. Sometimes to protective. Sometimes I just want to scream. Lol. But gotta love him.
aww, lol about him worried about the weed wacker...at least he's protective of you!
Lol. My hubby mows 90+ acres a week for his business. He mows our grass too, because he doesn't like the way I do it. lol. I'd weed wack, but apparently I hold the weed wacker against my stomach which scares my hubbers. I think I would be okay at least for a few weeks.
I'd mow for a couple weeks, stop for a little while then at 39 weeks mow every day! Lol j/k it's whatever makes you comfy. My first pregnancy I push mowed, weed wacked, hedge clipped, the whole nine yards. I had no one else to do it (my ex.hub was ungodly lazy), and we lived in an area that would fine you if your yard got "out of acceptable curb appeal limits". It was a real thing and they'd put a giant yellow sign in your yard if you were in violation.
I was told not to mow the lawn using a tractor mower after my first trimester. Even if you watch for bumps you will likely not be able to avoid them all. I am leaving the mowing to hubby and will handle the weed-whacking and gardening. =)
She also said its no different than riding in a vehicle, you just feel the bumps faster because what your on.
My doctor said its my decision, but it could cause pre-term labor the closer I get to my due date which is why my hubby is concerned.
I'd definitely stop if I wasn't feeling alright, and probably wear something over my face to keep from injesting grass and dirt, but otherwise, it's probably just like every other exercise. Maybe run it by your doctor?
It would all depend on how comfortable you feel with doing this. As long as your not getting over heated, taking some breaks and not over doing it I would think it would be ok.
