33 weeks stringy jelly - is this mucus plug?

For a few weeks now on and off I've had quite thick stringy jelly every so often when I have wiped after going to toilet. Some bits have been quite big,one has been longer than an inch. They are creamy/clear coloured and sometimes a tad yellowy. Sorry for tmi, I was just wondering if anyone knows if this means anything or even if anyone else has had it and how long for? After the first time I had it almost 2 weeks back it was a few days before I had anymore, but then yesterday and the day before there seemed to be something almost each time i went to the toilet.

Just makes me wonder how long it will be like this, if I can have baths and just if its normal i guess or even what it means?

What are u planning on doing? I can't help but feel i might be wasting their time, n i don't know how bad my period like pains should be. Especially when i think i'm only 33w2d it's hard to know what's best to do? Should i give them a call just to ask for advice? What are you going to do? x

Definitely go in, or at least call and go to your doctor. This post is personally good for me cuz I have been noticing the same going on in my panties Haha. My ob said well check my cervix when I go in on my next appointment

I don't know i guess everyones different, not sure what mine means.
I've had a huge amount today. Sorry for tmi but it was actually like a massive blob and filled nearly all my pants. Any ideas ladies? Still think this could be thinning? I've had period like pains today and my back ache again x

I'm 34 weeks and haven't noticed anything like that. Makes me think my baby will come after my due date.

They told me it was basically your body preparing for birth, just nature running its natural course(:

Oh ok good to know when there's some sort of explanation. I'm keeping an eye out in case it changes. What does it mean for your cervix to be thinning?

I've had that one today and another time on Christmas. I'm only 25 w and my dr office is closed till Monday.  Should I be concerned? There's no blood but it is definitely like you described with a little mucus here and there.

I had the exact same thing around the same time, I went to hospital and they said it was my cervix thinning not my mucus plug, my mucus plus is still very much in tact, and I'm now 37 weeks. Its normal, unless you have ur bloody show, itching, or doschare has a strong smell I wouldn't worry about it(:

I thought I replied.... You are slowly losing your mucous plug. I'm 33+6 and started losing mine around week 32 as well. It's totally normal and nothing to worry about unless it's tinged with blood then that's when you need to call your ob
