when to test ???

I had unprotected sex on March 16 and my period is suppose to come on the 26th I started bleeding light today (confused if its period or implantation) I want to know when I could test ?

I didn't have ins so I had to have proof of pregnancy from my health dept to get approved for a medical card so I could see a Dr. I found out at 4w6d, and the health dept tests dont get a positive read until you're at least 6 weeks pregnant or 2 weeks past your period. I would wait at least a week, maybe two, to get the most accurate results :)

Thank you an I might just wait till next month because I'm confused on this bleeding being my period out implantation its close to when my period is suppose to be due.

Test a week or two after your missed period for best results! The first response tests are supposed to detect up to 6 days before your missed period but some ladies don't produce enough hcg for a positive that early.
