I have had 4 kids an my last one I stayed dilated at 2 from 37 weeks to 40 weeks no-one wanted to induce me an my OGBYN left town cause his dad passed away . So at 41 weeks I started having contractions an went to the hospital in the middle of a blizzard driving 15mph. Till I made it to the hospital 45mins away. When I got there they told me I will still at 2cm. An I could go back home . Then I QUICKLY stated that I just drove 45mins in a blizzard to get here an I don't Care WHO the Dr. Is( Cause mine still wasn't back from his trip) I'm NOT LEAVING HERE IF THAT MEANS ME BUSTING MY OWN WATER ! Needless to say the Dr. On call was walking in at that point an said ok she's 41weeks lets have a baby . They induced me an 22hrs later I had a beautiful 7lb. 12oz. Baby Girl with a head full of long Hey Black Hair an I Was Feeling Like Wonder Woman ! :-)
