just a tip!

If you want to see your precious baby(for free!), the local college's ultrasound technician course trainees are ALWAYs practicing on expectant mothers, because it's the only real hands-on experience that they get. Just contact them, and ask when they are doing it. They will get you to fill out a form basically saying that you've sought out prenatal care already, and just a little info on you, and voila! you get a free ultrasound! :) I have one set up for early March, and I will be around 32 weeks. I love free stuff!

my friend who just had her baby gave me the information on it, and I just called the number. But I guess you'd ask if they do ultrasounds for teaching purposes. And I would contact someone in the head of the department, so nursing or something? I'm not sure what educational department ultrasound technology would be deemed under.

I juss had my anatomy today, and they took like 20 pics and I got 5 of 'em. That was my very first ultrasound. They'll do more If I was a high risk (I'm not) but other than that, They said they MIGHT do another one a few weeks before the baby Is born to make sure everythin' Is goin' how It should.

Aww man I was about to be too excited. So what question do you ask the school to see if they have this available?

they have to do more than one don't they? one to see if it's a "viable" pregnancy around 8 weeks, and another to make sure everything(heart, kidneys, etc) is developing properly around 18-22 weeks, right? if not, then I'd be complaining lol

Omg acline I went to Greenville tech and did that with my first, and the poor girl had me laying on my back so long I passed out because the baby was laying on a main artery... She was taking a test and had to identify all these different things on my US and it took like 2 hours...
