wow £7.20...in Scotland its £3 per item just now, but from 1st April its free for prescriptions!
Hey huni,
Just wondered how your getting on??
Haha yeah we have a free health service although we pay for prescriptions/drugs per item its £7.20 although this doesnt cover the cost of the drug its a contribution. Though we have the NHS it doesnt mean we get the best care though and its very expensive to go private lol.
I hope your doing ok!!
Free health care? That's awesome. Yup, in USA we have really bad health care services and they are so expensive. Thank you so much for following up with me.
Ahh i get you your from USA its different over here in the UK we have a free health service ok so "they" say reasons for concern- If the bleeding is red,if your using 1 pad per hour, cramping, back ache if you were having a miscarriage it doesnt necessarily mean that pregnancy symptoms would disapear (when i had a mc in nov took until jan) But i would defo advise a trip to the ER and just to be safe rather than sorry you can get checked out if your anything like me youll only worry until you do see a doctor.
Best of luck hun and im crossing my fingers everythings ok for you.
Thank you so much for that response. It's good to hear from people with similar experiences. I feel better knowing it's not something weird that no one ever heard of.
My younger sister (who's very petite & slight of build) conceived and had that exact same issue when she was about 5 or 6 weeks along. We took her to the maternity E.R. and did an internal ultra sound (thru the vagina) and found nothing to be wrong. The "baby" was in her uterus, her ovaries were fine & since she was "cramping, gushing blood or clots or in pain" they said "slight blood" discharge is fairly common in early pregnancy. She gave birth to a very healthy 6 lb baby girl 8 months later. But its safe to get checked out to be sure.
I am 7 weeks. I'm in between OBGYN's as of right now. My old doc was horrible and was of no help as her answers to me were "I don't know" and I only spoke with her once as the rest of the time she had her nurse assistants do all the communications. So I am trying to get an idea until my appt with my new doc.
Thank you.
You really need to see a doctor to determine if it is a miscarriage, They will be able to scan, check your cervix and also monitor your HCG, Not all bleeding means miscarriage its quite normal to spot in pregnancy.
How far along are you?
