Hairy?

How many women suffered heart burn throughout pregnancy and ended up having a baby with a full head of hair or hairy all around?I didnt experience much with my first pregnancy and my son didnt come out with to much hair, but with this one only at 15wks ive had more heartburn then expected.. Anyways i just wanted to know if this is true for anyone else?

Well with both my girlies I had heartburn- not extreme or severe but quite often,  and my girlies were nearly bald. Lol, I had hoped for lots  hair to put bows in and style but no luck.  :P

I'm not sure if it's related or not. My sister in law has had two kids and had horrible heartburn with both and they were both very bald. Here's a link to what causes heartburn in pregnancy

during my research, I haven't found anything in relation with baby hair and heartburn

The doctor told me heartburn is related to ur stomach becoming smaller and witth pressurse on it like qhenbyor bloated  I havent getting much this time around hope I dont like :) goodluck girls

I had really bad heartburn and my daughter was born with a full head of hair.

My 1st had a full head of hair she was born with her hair sticking up

I agree its a myth. My mum had it with all of us and we were born bold. She didnt have it with my youngest sister and she was the onky one born with hair....you get heart burn/indigestion/acid reflux due to your hormones relaxing the muscles in the digestive system.

At 33 weeks i had to have an ultrasound. And the lady said to me have you been experancing heartburn? I told her yes quite bad and she went i thouggt so, your baby has lots of hair!! And sure enough you could see it on the ultrasound lol! I didnt even know it was possible lol!! X

My daughter had 4 in long hair at birth and I felt.like I could breath fire from 13 wks till I had her at 38.3 this time daughter #2 I've had heartburn now since wk 15 and now almost 23 wk and every day but got meds this time so at least I can survive!

In my 3D ultrasound they said at 28 weeks he already had a head full of hair and I don't get heartburn at all.

I had a severe case and my 1st baby boy had so much hair it was very straight and long and he still has all of it.My next boy not so much I had heartburn but no bad and not often and he had hair but wasnt a full head and he is not hairy at all.

With my first I only got heart burn when I bent over occasionally and he was super hairy. And this one I don't have much heart burn at all. Its a wives tale.

It's not a myth.  Heartburn is related to the same hormone that produces keratin .. needed for hair. So though it is not always the case for all mothers,  it is probable. With my first I had heartburn in the end and my daughter had a headful of hair.  With my second,  I had heartburn a lot throughout my pregnancy and not only did she have a head full of hair,  she had it all over her (it shedded of course). I'm 27wks 5days & I have heartburn every so often.  The ultrasound showed he already has a lot of hair!

I had a ton of heartburn and my daughter was born with so much hair. I think it's only a coincidence though
