6 weeks pregnant and bleeding?

I am 6 weeks pregnant and have been bleeding like a period for 2 days. It all started when i had sex with my husband and found a a tiny bit of blood afterwards. Everything was fine and i went to bed. The next morning I woke up and everything was fine. But at about 10:00 I started to bleed moderately like a perdiod. I called my husband and he rushed me to the ER where they did a pelvic exam and found my cervix to be closed. They tested my levels and did a vaginal ultrasound. turns out my level was about 1700 and they found no sign of a baby during the Ultrasound. What they did find in the ultrasound is that i have a "heart shaped" uterus. Later that night I continued to bleed and passed a few clots. I will be going back to have my levels tested again tomorrow, and will most likely have another ultrasound. Is bleediing common in early pregnancy particularly with Bicornuate uterus?

Wow, I am actually going through the EXACT same thing as we speak. Yesterday was slightly cramping and bleeding (dark brown). I went to the ER and was examined and my levels were fine and my cervix was also closed. He figured it was my cervix preparing itself or the placenta.
Today I've been bleeding heavier and more red, but my cervix is still closed. They are just scheduling an U/S for me. My doctor acted as if it was definately a M/C. But I've heard of so many people that have killer cramps and bleeding and things turn out fine, that it's hard to give up hope.
I'm curious to what your levels are tomorrow, as I'm surprised they didn't find anything baby related when they did a scan. Not even a sac?
