I wish u people would quit freaking out and running to the doctor to see the baby all the time without even finding out what exactly happens during the ultrasound. Did u know that if u point the transducer at the fetal heart at 6 weeks and keep it on there for 30 mins u will cause heat bubble which will stop the heart and terminate the fetus. There is nothing u can do to stop a miscarriage and putting high frequency wave vibrating thru the tiny cells that are trying to grow the only thing u are going to do is cause harm to ur fetus. Ever wonder why autism is now 1 in every 88 births. 20 yrs ago is was every 10,000 ...It used to be that if a woman was 1 week or 2 late with her period she never even knew she had a miscarriage. A lot of women miscarry in the first month. If u can't handle having a miscarriage then don't take a pregnancy test until u are at least 7 to 9 weeks pregnant...then u won't freak out and rush to the ER where they will order the exam and u will vibrate those tiny pin size tissues when the only thing that u will achieve is the possibility of harming those tissues. ...If u are trying to get pregnant or u find out u are then don't rush to the ER if something doesn't go right with the pregnancy. there is nothing u can do to stop a miscarriage The only thing for u to do is to make an appt with on a get ur blood tests to see if ur HCG levels double every day in the beginning. You should only go to the ER if u are in a lot of pain...to make sure u are not having a tubal pregnancy
My doctors nurse told me to see a heartbeat the level is generally around 25000. I went to the doctor was supposed to be 7 weeks and saw nothing, went back later and saw a 7wk fetus with a heartbeat. my level 3 days prior was at 24,778.
Hey. I'm in the same boat and will let you know. My level on 07/12 was 6,000 and I'm supposed to be 5 weeks, give or take a day. On 07/10, so sac, but on 07/12, he thinks he saw what could be a sac. I go back on 07/15 and my levels should be way over 10,000. I don't expect a heartbeat until over 6 weeks though, another week. Good luck!
I saw a heartbeat at 6 weeks
The heart begins to beat on the twenty-eight day of conception. I can't tell you what your levels should be at, but I do know for a fact the heart begins to beat around the 28 day.
It sounds like you are scared and I will pray for you. Everything will be just fine!
I went to the ER with this pregnancy when I was 4 weeks 3days because I was spotting, and my HCG was 885, they said that they should be able to see something with the hcg at 2000. When I went back at 7 weeks we sawe a heartbeat but I have no idea what my count was, I'm sure WAY above 2000. But that's what my Doctor told me, hope this helps!!
6-8 weeks is what I have heard most.
I just found out that my levels are at 1399 and the doctor told me not to go anytime before they hit 2000 or even shortly after. Cause they wont be able to see anything. She told me to wait until after I was 6 weeks to go. Hope this helps!
Well, we are very similar. At 4 wks 6 days I was at 977 and 2 days later I was 2700.
The closest on my calendar to compare to you would be at 5 weeks 6 days my hcg was at 16,667.
That day was my 3rd ultrasound and they finally found the sac that day :)
Well that's what I have. So, according to the table your levels should be over 1000 to see the heart beat, but as you see they vary quite much, so it's hard to determine.
