confused by results

I got a negative pregnancy test two weeks ago. Yesterday and today I've gotten a total of four positives. I went to the doctor to verify and they got a faint positive and sent me to sono and saw nothing. The date of my last normal period was June 7-11. I had a short two day bleed that was as heavy and like a period (but shorter than normal) on July 13. Is it possible that this was a period considering two weeks ago this showed as negative. That would make it too early to see anything rather than if I was as far along as from June 7.

Took a second draw today. The nurse said that my number was 49 on the first draw. I guess now I just wait to see if those go up.Fingers crossed that the direction is up and not down. :/

I believe you are pregnant. I took a pregnancy test on June 20 and had 2 negatives. But tested again July 2 and got 3 positives. I am 7w 4 days today :) just keep faith

I hope that is the case and that I'm not the 7 weeks like they thought. Seems like with the negative two weeks ago then you are *hopefully* correct. We've been trying for a year and that is why I'm so antsy about all of this.

I would say the one you had in July was implantation bleeding and that is why they can't see anything because you would only be a few weeks along

I am going to the doctor for a second blood draw tomorrow.

I was worried though when they said they couldn't see anything at 7 weeks, which is what they assumed I was off of my last normal period. What I'm hoping is that the two-day thing was a real period too, just different. That way it will make sense that they don't see anything this soon. Also the negative two weeks ago tells me that I'm early on, right?

Its very possible!! Your levels could of been too low which lead to the false negative (the same thing happened to me)

no but she is VERY smart =] like, whoa smart :) and she has a lot of friends who are doctors..and the hospitals up here are ranked in the Top 5% as having the best medical results :)

sadly you may need to wait a little bit..chances are, you ARE pregnant but not far enough along to have strong results. i just asked my bf's mother and she told me that, but i would have guessed the same thing =]

with me, i had a negative and an ultrasound that said not pregnant...lord and behold, i was pregnant but not far enough to show any sort of results and ill be 18 weeks on thursday :D
