A little OT: Tattoos and Stretchmarks

Ladies, help me out here. I don't have any stretchmarks on my stomach so far yet, but I do have some nasty dark ones on my breast (just the right one) its a few lines but very noticeable. I want to get a tattoo over it, but my babys dad said the ink won't stay that the tattoo is just going to look messed up and blurry. He's sleeved up and he has an area of stretchmarks where the ink is alot lighter than the other area...So has anybody had a tattoo over a stretchmark and it didnt come out how it was supposed to?? My job has a tattoo removal treatment sessions, somebody else suggested to get them lasered off, do you think thats a better way.

As long as you have a good tattooist it won't make a lick of difference.  I have a full back job which goes over scars, stretch marks and lots of various bumps and lumps and you can't even see the stretch marks anymore.  I'm pregnant now and my tattooist told me to come back when I've finished breast feeding and he'll tidy it up so if I get any new stretch marks I won't be able to see them.  Gotta love a good tattoo!!

I know a tattoo artist and he said that it will look lighter (I've asked about this same question)  he said it shouldn't look blurry but just lighter.  pigments are different or something...Good Luck

Maybe the laser treatment will work...I'm not sure hun.
