I use proactiv. the body wash does wonders plus you can put it on your face too and kill two birds with one stone in the shower (: and it's not expensive. My kit was 20 bucks. Go take a look at their website
I use toothpaste. I use it as a spot cream and keep it on for about 20 mins. It dries them out and within a day they usually disappear.
Thank you so much ladies!! I've never broken out before pregnancy this bad. I will definitely try those. Its just getting out of control.
The salicylic in murad is perfectly fine for pregnant woman it is a 1% or .5% and I have been using those products on pregnant women for 2 and a half years now and it has been fine. You can do research on murad if you would like to, but I promise it is safe I use it on my own skin :)
I use cetaphil. Works like magic and is crazy gentle. No salicylic acid :)
Also keep in mind that there are some ingredients in acne creams that should not be used while pregnant, and I'm pretty sure one of them was salicylic which is mentioned above, so I would actually stay away from that. But I am in Australia so I don't know if our ingredients are stronger and such so your best bet would be to Google or speak to a doctor about creams instead of trusting people on here and only use the home remedies until then.
If they are cystic, which means deep down under the dermis and really sore, usually they are red and tender but not white then you wanna get them up to the surface. You can do a spot treatment and mix baking soda with warm water and put it on any blemishes that you have, leave it on for a couple minutes then remove and it helps bring them up for you to get the bacteria out. Another good cure is the MURAD acne facial kits that they sell online. They work wonders. Their products have sulfuric acid and salicylic which kills bacteria, heals the breakouts and prevents any more breakouts from coming through. If nothing works for you its because they are hormonal and hormonal cannot be cured with products because it is a bodily function.... the murad kit is the best bet honestly and if it doesn't work for you, you can return it and get your money back :) pro active works because it has alcohol and benzyl peroxide whixh dries the breakouts out instead of healing them! am an esthetician so I promise I know what I'm talking about. If you ever have questions feel free to message me :
