HI IM KRISTIN im 22 & I am prego with my first child I need advice my last menstrual period was March 08/2011 after my period was over with usually my period lasts 5days and my cycles are irregular .well after it was over with me and my boyfriend had intercourse. We did all threw March no condoms basically all the way till March 22 then we didn't see eachother. Till the march 27th due to our busy work schedules but during the time march 22-27 i had really bad cramps..well when we seen eachother on the 27 in the evening we got into a big fight and I called my ex boyfriend to pick me up well one thing led to and me and my ex had protected sex but during it all it did not feel good it was very painful like a stabbing pain kinda like menstrual cramps but worse anyways I took a pregnancy test April 4 which would be about a week after intercourse with my ex boyfriend  and got a very faint positive so I took another next day April 5 digital one and said I was prego to make things clear my due date is December 13 but I've heard of due dates being wrong sometimes same due date on ultrasound  so im wondering whose baby could it be im about to be 8months and this question keeps haunting me I need advice I feel alone due to the fact im embarrassed to even talk to my Dr about this just shows im very shy with things like this please help!!!! I feel guilty & ashamed that's why it keeps lingering in my head. Help!!!

also, the cramping could have been implantation cramps.  this is my third pregnancy and i have had those cramps with every child..so i KNOW when i conceive lol!

it would be your first partner.(current boyfriend) because you would not have had a positive test a week after sex...so you were already pregnant when you had sex with your ex.  a week isnt enough time for the egg to fertilize, and then implant.  THEN you would have another 3-4 days to get a positive.

it usually takes about 7-12 days for a fertilized egg to implant itself into the uterus..then another few days for enough HCG to accumulate in your body for a positive pregnancy test (urine).  basically you can take how many weeks you are..minus two weeks..and it will give you CLOSE to the time you would have conceived.

You most likely conceived on the 22nd. Meaning since you were having sex with your boyfriend up until that day, it is DEFINITELY his. Trust me honey, you can't get a positive test after one week. You and your boyfriend can enjoy your bouncy baby and forget about your ex. :)

You can get a paternity test after the baby is born. That's going to be the only way you will know for sure. If you don't you will live with the guilt of not knowing for sure who the father is.
