Afrin nasal spray during pregnancy

So I have had a few different OB's opinion. Some one is saying afrin decongestant nasal spray is safe during pregnancy and the other 2 say no. Out of curiosity what is your OB's opinion?? I currently have a terrible cold and can't breath out of my nose or sleep :(

Yes being a nurse I'm very knowledgeable with medications, but jw what everyone's OB decision is on using it period. Rather it be a day or a week. Thank you ladies.

In general, actin whether pregnant or not is meant for short term use.  It has that rebound effect where people Ned it to feel like they can breathe.  My doctor is okay with it for 1 week max.
