Its hard to say,ive had mc that have happened, and got my period as usual, and had them where period is delayed for a while.its not a ridiculous question, here we can ask anything.somtimes I think it depends how far on you were.
Your next period is generally meant to occur between 3-6 weeks after miscarriage (depending on what type of miscarriage it was). I had a missed miscarriage and D&C in June and didn't get my period for 14 weeks! After going to my doctor, turned out my iron levels were so low I wasn't getting my period - so at least it was easy fixed.
How long has it been? When are you expecting your period?
I had my first period 36 days after my D&C in January. I'm sorry to hear about your loss.
I had my period 6 weeks after my d&c... so it definately can vary. They told me to return to my doctor after 8 weeks if I did not see a period.
Thank you for being understanding. I was six weeks. Hope you are ok and I'm sorry for your losses xxxxx
Thank you for your message and so sorry to hear about what has happened to you. Am not worried yet I suppose, just confused. Technically I would be due round about now if I go on last period. Had the miscarriage on 10th October. xxx
Thank you. Hope you are ok xxxxx
Thans for your message; I suppose I'll just have to wait and see. Hate how I'm secretly hoping I'm pregnant when I know that the chances are low. Trying constantly to act normal and be fair to myself but you live in hope don't you. Sending hugs to you xxxxx
Sorry for your loss - it's truly a horrible experience! And the waiting game really doesn't help. You will be back to normal before you know it but definitely keep tabs on things if your period is taking its time to come back.
I'm now just over 6 weeks pregnant with my next bub so fingers crossed everything runs smoothly this time. I'm sure it will. All the best when you get your second chance x
I had a D&C on July 26th, which was right around the time my period normally would've come anyway. I got my period a little over four weeks later (August 30th)! I think it all depends on how your body deals with hormones, etc., and how regular you were.
