1/2 pound/week... and I'm so happy the baby and you are okay! That's great news.
Great news, get excited girl your have a baby boy in a few weeks. x
Glad to here your US went well and your son is doing so well ;-)
Yeah, those weight estimates can be off - either way. The morning I went into labor with my son, the ultrasound said he'd be about 6 lbs 10 oz. Two hours later I was holding an almost 9 lb baby. LOL. But, really, 5.5 lbs at 34 weeks isn't bad. I had my 34-week last week, and he was estimated at 6 lbs 6 oz. I'm guessing he's close to that...and assuming that, by the time I'm induced (36 weeks) he'll be about 8.5 pounds. Which is okay with me...any bigger, and I'm be worried.
I'm sure you'll be great!
thanks, i feel a bit better now. i do think baby will be a bit on the heavy side though because i have the same groin discomfort i had with my last...who was 8lbs 13ozs. i'll just have to hope my body won't make something too big to exit naturally lol
Worried~ What a great weight! Tj was 5lb5oz at 35w5d so it sounds like yours is doing GREAT! :)
I'm glad to hear it all worked out okay!
I wouldn't worry about the weight too much, as those ultrasounds can be OFF significantly at the end. My daughter went in during her last month and was told the baby was 8-9 pounds. She is very small framed and we were thinking the worst. Turns out my granddaughter only weighed 6lb 13oz and she wasn't born early. Oh well, it was probably best for my daughter that she was smaller.
Phew!
I think they put on 1/2-1 lb a week the last month. Don't quote me on that!
Thats so good to hear after that scare you had. So glad to hear everything is fine.
So glad all went well!!!! Must be a relief for you!
that sounds good i am glad
thanks, am finally allowing myself to get excited.
so happy that everything went well now just a few more weeks and he'll be here again congrats
