Anatomy ultrasound??
I have the midway anatomy ultrasound tomorrow where they check that everything is okay in there and growing normally and tell you the gender. I was wondering what I should expect and how long the appointment is? Like an hour or is it really long
A good tech can do the scan in 20-30 minutes. Very often I can see gender within a few seconds. The measurements include head, abdomen, long bones, and some anatomical structures. Other areas evaluated are head, face, heart, stomach, kidneys, bladder, bowel, abdominal cord insertion, vessel number of cord, feet, hands, placenta, fluid check, placenta cord insertion. The heart can be up to 10 images.
Usually about an hour, they normally check all the measurements first and then they look for the gender
