I was suppose to get my period on october 23rd but got it on the 24th which one day late no big deal. It was brown blood at one point it was very light bright pink and a spluge of heavy when i wiped once and decided to put in a tampon but later on when i took it out there was just brown blood it only lasted three days all brown mainly. My periods are normally 28 days 5 days long never shorter never longer until now of course. I don't feel pregnant i'll get a few pains in my stomach but my boobs feel normal. I did actually get sick yesterday from the smell of berry gum. That dosent mean much im sure. I would like to take a test but i don't want to be dissapointed so i'm trying to wait until i actually miss a period. Any advie?

We all will get a screwy period here and there specially as we get older..i know when i first got my period at 13...they would last a full 7 days...now since i had my son in 2003 they last 4-5 days if im lucky, usually the first 2 days is heavy and the rest is the light brownish ,like you described. and sometimes even a barely there color.

Brown blood is old blood so it's hard to know what is going on. You could still take a test if you wanted to but chances are that was your period and maybe next cycle it will be more normal for you!
