Appointments (or lack of)

This is my first pregnancy and I don't have my first appointment for ANYTHING, (blood tests, measuring, family history questions etc) until tomorrow. I'll be 10wks tomorrow. Is that bad? Idk why my doctors/midwives are so BUSY! I feel like I've been going it alone, some to be mum's have scans at this stage!! Are they then obliged to fit me in for a scan within my 12 week period? When was everyone else's first appointment's (booking appointment) and scans?

My first appointment was at 6wks an had an ultrasound that confirmed a baby at 6wks 5days it just depends on where you are an how they do things

My first doctors visit was when I was 13 weeks pregnant and all they did was urine, weight, blood pressure, and talk to us. I didn't have an ultrasound until I was 17 weeks. My second ultrasound was a month later for the anatomy scan and I'm 29 weeks now and I just had my glucose test last month. I've had one regular visit since that first visit where all they did was urine, blood pressure, weight, and heart beat.

I didn't have my first appointment until 16 weeks so I think you're fine

I went at 7weeks but only because I had been really sick with something not pregnancy related. Most mom's I know went at 12weeks and had their first scan between 12-14.

It depends where you are in the uk you have booking bloods done and a scan and bloods for Down syndrome at 12 weeks and then othe r bloods and then a anomaly scan at 20 weeks where you can find out the sex ect in the USA it seems to depend on where u r as to what to expect

Oh wow, is there a procedure that everyone usually follows? Or is it just whatever the weather? That's put me at ease! That's great news, congrats :')
