Army Wife

Hi ladies, not a question...just a venting session. Im about 5mos along and I am an Army wife. This is still the beginning of our marriage and our first pregnancy but he already has to leave to training today for 70-100days. I know its not that long and there are worse situations but these hormones are making me extra sad. Im in a new town and barely know anyone..its so scary. I keep thinking about pre term labor and complications and he wont be here to help me through it... But I just felt like venting and i hope ther are other wives on here who can also relate and shed some light on how they coped during the pregnancy..

My husband and I are recently married and he is currently deployed until next year. I am currently 12 weeks and we found out just over a month ago  Being apart isn't fun at all. He is very comforting though emails and I tell him everything when I can. I just try to stay busy. Not gonna lie. I cry a lot. It's just something that happens. I'm super emotional due to hormones.  I would attend birthing classes or anything where you have an awesome support group. Stay strong girl. It's only the beginning

I was pregnant with my first and my husband was gone for training. It was difficult. I kept busy by reading about pregnancy and baby & shopping. Putting things together. Plenty of days where I cried like a baby but it was over before I knew it. Do you have a hobby? (Painting, drawing, anything) that can help. Writing letters to unborn etc. Try not stress, bad for baby. Hope you feel better and find a way to cope. Being a military wife isn't easy at all especially being pregnant while he's away.
