I think the only way that ur baby can have it is if you are a carrier of the fragile x but im a ftm so im not sure
I don't know about the flu shot... But I've heard of pitocin as a possible cause for autism. People with autism don't produce oxytocin like people without autism. Oxytocin is what we get when we have orgasms... Or when you birth naturally... It's what is responsible for our social interactions & love emotions.... There could be zero truth to it all, but it's the only medication I've ever heard of linked to autism.
Yes is really hard, but with love we can do everything with our kids, I have a 11 years old autistic son and he my lovely son, I was so scared to be a mom again, but I'm glad my fears went away, now my son is going to be a big brother and he seems really happy with the news
@ anm89 beautiful comment !
My daughter has pddnos a form of autism and I did not get flu shot
It seems like nowadays everything is a risk for autism. My son is autistic (4yrs old). 5 years ago when I was pregnant with him, it seemed like there was out bursts about everything causing autism. I didn't get the flu shot, I refused the flu shot for him as well. I avoided every risk possible, but he's still autistic. I'm at the point where I honestly think it just happens to some of us. It hurts everyday to watch my son get stared at by others, not picked for games, have no friends, etc...but he has me =) He is my very best friend and he'll always be my sweet little boy. I understand freaking out about it though lol. But honestly, it seems like there's no possible way of avoiding it. =/
