Awful customer service

Just need to vent.  My husband and I went shopping this weekend and when we were checking out at one of the stores, the cashier asked when I was due.  I said in June.  She then asked if I was carrying twins.  I assured her that no, there is only one little boy in there.  She said "Oh honey, do you normally get this big?"  I started getting so angry,  I said no, this one just popped out sooner than my others, so she said well,  you better start out with 3-6m clothes because I think you will probably have a really big baby.  I started crying and walked away.  My husband was still writing out the check, but said she didn't even apologize to him for the things she said.  Don't you just hate people like that?

OMG I absolutely hate people like that..... I got it all the time... When I was 37wks with my 1st my dh and I went to Wal-Mart to walk around and try to hurry things along. There were these 2 teenage boys walking behind me. My daughter had dropped and I was a waddler....... Well to be short they started laughing and was like Gorda (meaning fat) and making noises... I stopped turned around and pushed one of the boys down and yelled who the fu** are you calling fat.. I snapped and was so pissed that I let him have everything I had been dealing with for the past 8 months from all the idiots..... I was always being asked are you old enough to be pregnant? I dont know are you old enough to be that stupid? Needless to say I was 21 at the time... When I was pregnant with my son (2nd) I was working and my husband came to get my daughters car seat from me, well there was this woman listening to everything and she was like how long have you been married? 3years and kept walking, she was like how many kids do you have I said 1 and 1 coming. She was like OMG how old are you 16??? I was pissed so I was like NO I am 34 but THANK YOU so much you old hag and walked on.... I cant even tell you all the dumb people out there!!!!  And YES STOP CALLING US FAT!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh someone did say something behind my back. They told a close friend of mine, "Gosh, Joy sure is getting FAT!" All the fat comments made me remember. My friend just looked at her and said, "She's PREGNANT!"

i love how people call pregnant women fat. seriously....WE ARE NOT FAT! for the love of God we are sustaining life in our wombs. people are nuts. i'm 11 weeks with twins, not married yet (engaged for a lil over a year). luckily i haven't had anyone come up to me and out right say something because with the way my hormones have been raging....g8r grl i would make you look like a saint. the only person who's even made a rude comment was one of my cousins (who even though i'm pregnant with twins...is still fatter then i am, the girls pushin 250-260 and i'm only 140) when she said that i'm packin on the pounds and should watch how much i eat. my lovely retourt to that was well at least i have a reason to eat for three....what's yours?

When I was about 4 months along (getting pretty decent in size), I was at work one night and an old man said the rudest thing to me. I was bagging up his items (I was the manager at a Hallmark store...incidently making the same money that I am as an SLP) and he looked at my engagement ring and said "does that ring have anything to do with that baby?" All I could think was "DID THIS OLD PIECE OF CR*P JUST ASK ME IF I GOT MARRIED BECAUSE I'M PREGNANT!?" Who asks that! I went off....I yelled at him that I had been married for 8 months and I was 4 months pregnant, so do the math! I told him that I was 23 years old and had finished college before getting married...what else did he want from me!? My employees just stared at me in disbelief that I had talked to a customer like that!

I also had a woman ask to use our bathroom at the store, but I had to tell her no and to use the public restroom at the grocery store next door. An old woman had recently pooped all over our floor and wall at the store bathroom, so I had stopped letting strangers use it. I knew EVERYONE at the grocery store next door where I had sent her. Thirty minutes later I went to buy some lunch and I walked over. As soon as I walked in, two of the cashiers said "Aimee! What'd you do to that woman?" I asked what they meant and they said a lady came screaming into the store that "some fat pregnant b*tch at Hallmark wouldn't let her use the bathroom!" I said "well that must be me!"

People are so weird. The older they get, the more they seem to lose their tact. Just try to ignore it! You'll be telling funny stories about them later when your hormones aren't so crazy!

That  was very rude of her.  I would have told her it was none of her business.
This morning one of the girls I work with told me " oh, your already starting to show. How far along are you?" I told her I'm only 9weeks.  I don't know if its because I had some fat on me already or because I am having twins.  Either way I was a litlle hurt, I don't think I'm showing.

I know, I have gotten these comments so often that on my last appt, which was March 3rd, I asked the doctor if my stomach was overly large for how far along I am, he said my belly and the baby are measuring right on.  So yeah,  As I have been told before, opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one, but some of them really stink!!

Wow, that is completely rude!!! I can't believe the audasity (Spelling?) some people have. She could have stopped after you told her when you were due. Or at least after asking about twins. That is completely rude, and one day she will get hers back. Karma will always bite those kind of people in the butt!!! So no worries. I am sorry you had to put up with someone like that though. I cant stand it when people dont even realize how rude they are being. DOnt let her get to ya though k? Just remember you have a beautiful litte baby boy growing in there, and all pregnancies and the way women carry are different. Just be happy that June is getting here quickly and you will soon get to meet your precious bouncing baby boy!! :)

Wow. The only people who ever said anything to me were people I knew! I can't imagine a complete stranger saying something... unless someone DID say something and it traumatized me so bad I just don't remember...

Oh hon, don't even think about that woman! She is probably just being spiteful and jealous. And if your baby does end up being big, what business is it of hers???

YES! I remember when I was pregnant I would have people say the strangest things to me. I remember some lady in a line said "let me guess a boy right" and I assured her that no it was a girl and she just gave me a knowing look and said "I've had 3 boys that's a boy. I hope you won't be TOO upset when you have him and realize its not a girl"
