I don't really know how to ask this question without sounding stupid but im kinda stupid and innocent when it comes to questions as this is my first healthy pregnancy , but I am 6 weeks 4 days, is that measured from conception or ovulation, u guess my question is, is the baby there 6 weeks and 4 days or is the ovulate period included in that time? Sorry if it sounds confusing, any feedback woule be great :) thank u x

baby is still only four weeks because that's how the machine is calibrated. it doesn't matter if you actually had a period or not, conception and implantation aren't until week three of pregnancy, so you conceived approximately four weeks ago

They measure from the baby and it gives the doctors a rough guess on how far along you are. I didn't know when my last period was either. When I had mmy first ultrasound they measured from the baby and gave me a estimate on ho far along I was. Hope this helped.

Yes your baby is 6 weeks. They just go from the first day of your last missed period. Although you have only been "pregnant" a month. It's just how they count.

when the ultrasound takes measurements, it includes when you should have had your period if you had one. so it's only been about for weeks since conception

Im 6 weeks and 1 day :) i think u r asking if those 6 weeks include your period and ovulation (pretty much the 2 wks u were not pregnant) and yes it does. Since its very difficult for you or even your dr to pinpoint the day if conception it it measured from the day of yoyr ladt period.i hope that is what u were asking!
