BBT: Do you ovulate the day before the rise or the day OF the temp rise?

BBT: Do you ovulate the day before the temp rise or the day the temp rose above your peak? I have had several people look at my chart and say I ovulated on CD14 when my temp was 97.3 and some tell me CD15 when my temp went to 97.6 and went up from there.

I guess this is the only part that Im confused about now?

You ovulated on cd 14. I agree with pp, your temp doesn't rise until AFTER you have ovulated.

Your temperature will spike approximately 24 hours AFTER ovulation HAS occured. If ovulation does not occur a temperature spike will not be evident.

You have a rise in temp the day after you ovulate, your temp goes up and stays up or starts to drop right before your period.

i would say CD 15 because that is the day of the rise, usually you can't tell on the day you ovulate by the temperature that is why on FF it is a dotted line because it is possible it was the CD14 but i think its the 15.
