Thanks. I am the same way. Its funny what happens to our heads when we want something so badly. I have two children already and I know what you are talking about. My husband ends up with all the blankets in the morning due to my hands and feet sweating like crazy! I even sleep with a fan on high on me all night. I'm not due for my AF until the 30th of this month so it's going to be a long wait. Although, I have a doctors appointment on the 20th for blood tests to make sure that I ovulated (due to no AF 2 months before; which I have never had a problem with unless I was pregnant) and another one on the 23rd for an irregularity that picked up on a PAP; they want to do a biopsy but I think that I will wait until I know for sure if I am pregnant or not. That should be the beginning the week of the 27th or so. So thank you for all of your wonderful advice!
One of the first things that I noticed when I got pregnant is that I was sooo hot at night and I had night sweats kicking off the covers and all. I'm the type that can sleep with a wool blanket in the middle of the summer with the windows open and no AC so that was a weird thing for me.
I wouldn't rely too much on temping because any little thing can cause a temperature difference in your body. Just wait the two good ol weeks and test when you are late for AF. Its really hard to predict the weather. :)
Thanks so much. I figured I shouldn't count it. I am just afraid that I ovulated like 5 days ago and my temp shouldn't have dropped that much... I read about it dropping after ovulation but I think that it has been too long after unless it was delayed ovulation, but I got a positive OPK on Thursday. I'm just not so sure. I'll temp tomorrow just to see but I still am not sure. I hate when things like that happen when we are all trying so hard to get pregnant and every little thing seems to be negative.
I think under normal circumstances there is a temp drop after O and then it starts rising back up during the luteal phase if you are pregnant if you are not pregnant then it keeps going down.
It doesn't seem that today you took the temp under the right circumstances so I wouldn't rely on todays temperature.
