BM question

Ok just as a fair warning this may be a bit TMI and im sorry ahead of time. I am 36wks and 5 days pregnant with my first baby. For the past week or so my BM's have been a little weird. For the first few days, i had really loose stool but was normal in color, now for the past 2-3 days they have been more firm but are a green color. The only things ive been doing different is ive been drinking alot of gatorade (i was in the hospital over night due to dehydration and they said to increase my fluids and try to drink more juice or gatorade and obviously more water, so i have been drinking alot of gatorade).

Is it normal to have greenish stool while almost 37 weeks pregnant? Could it be from the extra gatorade ive been drinking?

Yep, its most likely the gaterade. It has dyes in it that will change your stool color. Mine always turn green when I drink alot of gaterade.

When I was early on in my pregnancy and couldn't take in plain water and keep it down my nurse suggested crystal light packets there are some that have no sugar in them or just natural sugar, I bought the lemonade flavor ones and that helped me keep the water down.

thank you that makes me feel sooo much better. I cant drink water because water taste soo disgusting to me that i gag drinking it, bottled or tap water. So normally i try to drink everything with ice and then i chew on the ice and ive recently added gatorade to my diet too stay hydrated.
