YAY.... It was confirmed today via ultrasound @ 18 weeks 1 day, that it is indeed a BOY!!!!!!. Intelligender and U/S at 12 weeks was right.... We are sooo happy and can't wait to welcome little man into our lives... :)

My OB won't tell you the sex of the baby until you are at least 20 weeks. I had a different OB with DS and they did the u/s at 18.5 weeks and were able to tell me it was a boy. From what I have heard the earliest would be 17 weeks for a accurate result. Even then of course it's not 100%

i think it is to early to tell i found out we were having another lil girl and i was 17 wks. I would just wait it out until ur next scan
I got an ultrasounds at 13-14 weeks and was told 80% it was a boy. 18 weeks Ultrasounds showed it was actually a girl. I honestly think Its too early and can go either way.
I just had one done at 16 weeks and the tech still wouldn't call it. They think boy, but it doesn't look like my boys' ultrasound done at the same time, looks like swollen labia to me and to others. You can see a mass between the legs with 3 lines, but no defined scrotum or penis, on my other 2 you can definitely see all that!
I think it's too early to say for certain. Based on the picture it looks like a boy, but like mami2karina said both genders have 'nubs' then. It's best to wait until ATLEAST 15 weeks for a more accurate gender determination.
She could be, but unfortunately both girls and boys still have a "nub" at that time. There's a good website that shows you the external changes, it's www.baby2see.com/gender/external_genitals.html
That was a vaginal u/s that was done...
Yay I hope its a boy! Go team blue!
if this is the proper angle i agree with her
